Boston Bruins Sign Claude Julien to Multi-Year Extension

The Boston Bruins signed head coach Claude Julien to a three-year contract extension. The financial terms were not disclosed.

Since Julien was hired as the head coach, the Bruins got to the Stanley Cup Playoffs every season. He won the Stanley Cup with Boston in 2011, advanced to the Cup Finals in 2013, and holds the franchise record for most postseason wins with 57 of them. Now in his eighth season behind the bench, he boasts a record of 317-171-65 in 553 games. Last season, the Boston Bruins won the President’s Trophy with 54 wins and 117 points.
